For towns like Tunbridge Wells a mix of toxic air pollution levels with cold temperatures poses a serious risk to adults and children with lung conditions this winter, and can affect all of our health.

We don’t think we should have to wait a few years for a solution, especially since more development is heading our way.

With many roads in the borough exceeding acceptable pollution levels,  we believe the council needs to make the pollution on our roads a top priority.  The A26 in Tunbridge Wells for example, needs to reduce the number of vehicles by 35% if it is to bring the pollution levels below EU acceptable limits. Will it take fatalities before our council act?
