I grew up in Lamberhurst and went to school locally. I moved away after school, returning to live in Tunbridge Wells in 2010. In 2012, I was one of the founding members of the Friends of Calverley Grounds, the community group with an interest in the town centre park, becoming chairman in 2016 and supporting the Calverley Adventure Grounds playground project which raised £240,000 from the community and grants.
I helped my wife launch the town-wide yard sale in 2017 which will be running for the 4th time this year after a break due to Covid. I am a keen supporter of grassroots projects and independent businesses in the town and borough, especially food and drink businesses, and have helped a number in various ways.
I am one of the founding members of the Alliance and current chairman. I was elected in 2018, 9 weeks after the Alliance was registered as a political party, and have been working hard for residents of Park ward since.
